Boston sold a pump and installed it on an existing well. The customer paid fully (not-sponsord, Self-supply).

Throughout the technical training Boston was among the quick learners. In the middle of the training he represented welders and drillers at the farmer’s field day and it was a success. Now that he has been fully trained Boston is able to fabricate the following technologies competently and to the standard:

  • Auger
  • Soil punch
  • Bailer (Mzuzu type)
  • EMAS pump
  • Rope pump Model 1 and Model 4

Boston started his Metal fabrication company called Bomavilu enterprises years ago. The company is located in town area of Chipata. He also has his second place of work at his residence. Boston fabricates popcorn machines, freezit (ice) making machines, groundnut crusher and peanut butter making machines. During the Jacana basic training he showed high level of motivation and enthusiasm.

At this moment he wants to expand his business by making rope pumps which he thinks is ideal to withstand water challenges in his community. Boston has enormous hidden capacities which Jacana wants to reveal. He successfully completed the training by Jacana in business, financial and marketing planning. We all know how inspiring a conference or a short training can be, but the next morning we are absorbed again by our day-to-day activities.

Therefore Jacana wants to train Boston technically on how to make rope pumps and install them in his community. To be able to train Boston we need your financial help. Every small amount is more than welcome.

Thank you on behalf of Boston!
