In mutual agreement Jacana and Robert decided on 17 July 2017 to stop working together on pump production.
March 2017
Robert as an engineer participated in three weeks technical training at Jacana. During the training he fared very well and has acquired skills in the production of the following technologies:
- Auger
- Soil punch
- Bailer (Mzuzu type)
- EMAS pump
- Rope pump Model 1 and Model 4

At this moment he wants to expand his businesses by making rope pumps and sell to his community. Jacana believes that Robert has the potential to expand his business and serve as a role model for fellow Zambians. Therefore Jacana wants to train Robert technically on how to make rope pumps.
