Joseph lives in Thanila village and is a farmer. He grows a lot of crops, like soya beans, sunflowers and groundnuts in the rainy season. He is very grateful to Jacana for the partly sponsored pump on the borehole. Now he can grow also vegetables outside the rainy season and he can generate extra income.

Joseph Ngoma is married and has 3 children. He lives in Thanila village and his profession is farmer. He grows field crops such as groundnuts, soya beans and sunflower in the rainy season and also vegetables like tomatoes, beans and onions. He keeps also cows, goats and pigs.

Joseph like any other entrepreneur wanted to expand his farming and livestock business this motivated him to attend the two days of business training organized by Jacana in Khova ward with the view of acquiring new business skills. During the training his focus was on expanding his business in growing vegetables in the dry season.
Joseph has now a partly sponsored borehole with rope pump and he can start with his expansion plans.
