Manual driller, Moses Ngoma
Moses Ngoma worked for about one year as a helper for and experienced manual driller. Jacana saw that he was hard working and gave him the opportunity to be trained as a manual driller. Moses took the chance and followed the business and technical drilling training. Now he is also an experienced driller who hires other helpers.
We stopped adding monitoring data after Januari 2019 for Moses Ngoma but he is still using the skills he learned from Jacana.

Together with Edward Tembo, Moses drilled a borehole and installed a pump for Judith Phiri. She wants to expand her vegetable garden. The pump was produced by Gideon Phiri.

Together with Aliford Phiri, Moses drilled a borehole at his house and installed a pump. The pump is for household use and marketing purposes. The pump was produced by Moses Mawele.

Moses was trained with 7 other drillers in manual drilling and pump installation. He enjoyed the training and learned a lot from Laban and Elias the trainers.

Moses is living in a small village called Maulawo and is married. He worked for more than a year for an experienced manual driller and he wanted to become a manual driller himself. Fortunately, Jacana gave him the chance to be trained as a driller. Therefore he followed the business and the manual drilling training. During the business training, Moses showed great interest in how he can expand his drilling business.

Jacana trained Moses in business and technical skills and supported him with a partly sponsored pump for marketing and household purposes.

- Use the water for household.
- Use the pump for marketing.
